NOTE: As of June 1st, 2025, the separate Counter App will no longer be supported.

This means the app can disappear or malfunction any time after that.

You will need to download the consolidated Crunchtime Inventory App.

Please review the Crunchtime Inventory App Consolidation Notice for download and general information.

Verify there are no network issues:

The device must have a good network connection.

Often, the walk-ins interfere with network signal, but other places can also have poor signal.

You may need to walk around the store to find a good connection.

Network connection is good, but it still will not sync:

The Counter App can only sync until someone clicks "Data Entry" on the Create/Review Inventories page.

You can verify the status in Net Chef by navigating to Inventory > Create/Review Inventories and checking the Status and Process columns.

If the "Data Entry" button has not been clicked, the status will say "Scheduled" or "Imported."

If you are unable to sync like this, please reach out to the IT Support Desk at 855-225-5250 for further steps.

If the status shows anything else, and the process column has "Reset Status" then the app will no longer sync.

In this situation, determine if any additional or separate edits to the data were made in Net Chef.

If NO additional edits in Net Chef were made:

Click the "Reset Status" button to clear the data from Net Chef.

This should allow you to sync the data again.

If you still have issues syncing, please reach out to the IT Support Desk at 855-225-5250 for further steps.

If additional edits in Net Chef were made:

You need to decide which data you wish to keep and which data will need to be re-entered.

There are two options for this.

Option 1: Keep Net Chef Data & manually enter changes from Counter

  1. In Net Chef click "Review"
  2. Click "Edit"
  3. Filter the Net Chef searches and locate the items that need to be changed.
You can have the Counter app open to use for reference.
  4. Make the corresponding changes in Net Chef.
  5. Save and Review.

Option 2: Keep Counter App Data & manually enter changes from Net Chef

  1. In Net Chef click "View"
  2. Click the printer icon.
  3. Select your preferred export settings and click "Export.
We recommend the file format of "csv" or "pdf" for easier readability.
  4. Once it has been exported, click "Close" on the inventory view page.
  5. Click "Reset Status"
WARNING: THIS WILL DELETE ALL DATA IN THIS NET CHEF INVENTORY AND CANNOT BE UNDONE.
  6. Use the information from your exported file and manually enter it in the correct locations in the Counter app.
  7. Sync the data when all edits are completed.

If you still have issues syncing, please reach out to the IT Support Desk at 855-225-5250 for further steps.
